SHOPPING IN DOWNTOWN ROANOKE

While on a whirlwind of a tour of Roanoke, I was able to sneak into 4 shops that I found to be cute and fun.

I am sure there are a lot more in the downtown area, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to explore them all.

The store's website describes it as an imaginative and artistic botique.

LA DE DA

This adorable shop sells clothes that are unique and trendy.  I would describe them as modern steampunk chic.

Some of the brands La De Da carries include Freepeople, True Grit, Cutloose, Cmc/Click, and Silver Jeans.   Their jewelry collection consists of pieces from all over the world, most of it beautifully handcrafted.

If you like chocolate and you like paper goods, then you will feel like you have died and gone to heaven at Chocolate Paper.

CHOCOLATE PAPER

The sweet scent of chocolate greets you as you walk through the door.

This fun little shop is filled with cute items that you will want to stuff in your suitcase and take home with you.

My short time in Roanoke would not have been complete had I not been able to go into Ladles & Linens.

LADLES & LINENS

This little shop has so many nice things, you are sure to find something that will be at home in your own kitchen.

This shop has your kitchen needs covered, ranging from colorful little tools all the way to culinary classics such as Le Cresuset and Swiss Diamond.

Just a block or two away from those other neat shops is The Candy Store.

THE CANDY STORE

The beautiful brick walls of the store are lined with classic jelly beans, gumballs, caramels, licorice, and chocolates.

The Candy Store is a great place to pick up a sweet little something to bring back to your loved ones, or to enjoy all by yourself.  Go ahead - nobody will judge you.
