Located only 30 miles southwest of Green Bay, the Fox Cities comprise 9 communities along the shores of Lake Winnebago and the Fox River.  It's midwestern living at its best.  It's also a great place to stay and play.  Here are three places to lay your head after exploring all that the Fox Cities have to offer.

1. Holiday Inn - Appleton

The Holiday Inn is only 1.5 miles from the Appleton Outagamie County Airport (ATW), making it a great place to stay when you have an early or late flight.

The rooms at the Holiday Inn were renovated in 2013 and feature a king bed or two-double beds.  In-room amenities include:

Other hotel amenities include an indoor pool and whirlpool, a beautiful courtyard, an ATM machine, complimentary shuttles to the airport and the Fox River Mall, a washer and dryer on-site, as well as dry cleaning services.

Dining options at the hotel include Marlon's Pub & Grill, where you can catch the game while dining on homemade pizza and late-night munchies, and the Terrace Cafe which has a variety of breakfast options, including a hearty, full hot breakfast buffet.
