Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa

Visiting Montgomery, Alabama, and looking for the best place to stay?  One great option is the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa at the Convention Center located downtown.

The Renaissance Hotel is just a few miles off of Interstate 65 and close to many attractions. It is a AAA Four Diamond property that features more than 103,000 square feet of meeting space, an 1,800-seat performing arts center, a 73,000-square-foot exhibit hall, and a 9,000-square-foot European spa. It has all of the amenities that you need for a memorable experience.

The hotel has over 340 rooms, is sparkling clean, and has artwork on display from the artist Nall.

Need to grab a drink before heading out?  The hotel has you covered - they have a small market near the check-in desk where guests can purchase soft drinks and snacks.  (There is also complimentary spa water available to guests.)

Facing the check-in desk, the hallway on the right leads to the Montgomery Convention Center which hosts concerts and events.

On the opposite side of the hallway is the hotel's restaurant, The House, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Hotel Rooms

The rooms are spacious and come with complimentary wi-fi, bottled water, a Keurig coffee maker, an in-room safe, and mini-fridge.

The bathrooms are spacious and are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer for guests to use.

The Spa

For an additional charge, guests can purchase day passes to the European-style Spa at Montgomery.  The pass includes spa water, a glass of champagne, and a steam room, to name a few of the benefits.  Therapeutic treatments include customized massages and facials.

Hotel guests have 24/7 access to the fitness center which includes cardiovascular equipment and free weights.

The spa, fitness center, and outdoor rooftop pool are located above the parking garage.  There is even an outdoor track, perfect for getting your morning walk in before tackling the day.

If you like lively music and good drinks, then the outdoor bar at the Renaissance will be your go-to place.  The atmosphere brings downtown Montgomery to life in the evenings and is a great place to wind down.

The Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa is located at 201 Tallapoosa Street and is convenient to world-class museums, good restaurants, and Maxwell Air Force Base.  The closest airport is the Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM).
