Last Updated: Dec 12, 2022 · Leave a Comment

The Hotel Indigo in Hattiesburg is a chic 100-room boutique hotel within walking distance of Southern Miss and a lot of good food. Its location makes it a great starting point for exploring the Hub City.

The Hotel Indigo in Hattiesburg was the first Hotel Indigo to be built in Mississippi and is everything and more that you would expect.

The tasteful decor throughout the hotel is a beautiful, contemporary nod to the city's railroad history.

Brass Hat restaurant inside of the Hotel Indigo.

The design of the onsite restaurant, Brass Hat, is reminiscent of a train's dining car with its arched ceiling, train handles, and antique luggage.

The Brass Hat opens at 5 pm daily and is a local favorite for small plates and drinks. Guest can enjoy dinner and drinks while watching the big game with others or take their order to their room for some alone time.

Market inside the hotel.

On the ground floor, there is a small market with snacks, soft drinks, and other goodies for sale.  It's great for those times when guests get the munchies and don't want to leave the hotel.  They can simply head to the market and pick something up.  It's also a spot where guests can grab a cup of locally roasted coffee any time of the day.

Plush blue chairs for relaxing.

Like other Hotel Indigo properties, you won't find the standard cookie-cutter hotel.  Each property is unique in theme and decor.  The lobby in Hattiesburg features plush velvet chairs and a bench for hotel guests to sit and relax.

Even the ladies' public restroom on the ground floor was designed with an emphasis on style.

The Hattiesburg Hotel Indigo partners with Southern Pines Animal Shelter.  A dog from the local shelter "lives" at the hotel and is available for adoption.  It's a great way for guests to get acquainted with some really sweet dogs that might become a part of their family.
