g. Foley's in Panama City, Florida is where the locals go for casual fine dining.

g Foley's restaurant in Panama City, Florida

g. Foley's might be one of the best-kept secrets in Panama City.  Located in a non-ostentatious building on West 23rd Street, it is the spot where locals go for fresh farm-to-table food.

Inside Dining Area

After guests enter the building, they can choose to dine in one of the inside dining areas, at the bar, or outside on the patio.  If the weather is nice, I recommend dining outside on the patio, especially when they have live music.  (Check the bottom of their web page for weekly event specials.)

g. Foley's is lucky to have Chef Chris Infinger at the helm.  He is a Panama City native who " has a deep founded passion for local flavors and local sources for all of his creations." His formal training took place at the Florida Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach.  Chef Infinger has the knack for combining local ingredients to tempt your palate while challenging your taste buds.  He hand selects the fresh catch of the day at the Tarpon Dock Seafood Market and has gotten to know growers and suppliers at the local markets.

The Food at g. Foley's

g. Foley's serves lunch and dinner and offers a Happy Hour Menu from 4:30-6:00 pm.

The tuna dip on toast points topped with tomatoes and jalapenos is amazing, and that is not something that I would normally say about tuna.

LUMP CRAB HUSH PUPPIES - Sweet Corn & Alabama Lump Crab Hush Puppies with Green Goddess Dressing

The Lump Crab Hush Puppies are listed on the dinner menu as an appetizer, but they are hardy enough to be a meal.  They are crispy on the outside and the crab and corn on the inside were cooked perfectly.

SHRIMP & GRITS - Gulf of Mexico Shrimp & Grits with Florida Rice Grits, Tasso, and Grape Tomato Relish

You can't go to Panama City without indulging in seafood.  This beautifully prepared dish is a favorite among g. Foley's patrons.  (g. Foley's is listed in the top 20 restaurants to dine in Panama City according to TripAdvisor.com reviewers.)

The brownie a la mode is a delicious way to end an incredible meal at g. Foley's.  Everything is delicious.

g. Foley's is located at 3212 W 23rd Street in Panama City, Florida.  Visit their website at gfoleys.com to view the menus and to make reservations.
