Bayou Joe’s in Panama City, Florida is an off-the-beaten-path restaurant that is worth the drive.

Bayou Joe’s is a quaint restaurant that sits on the Massalina Bayou. Literally. The restaurant is on a dock that juts out over the bay. After passing the pink facade (pictured above), guests walk on a deck over water that leads to the dining area.
It’s a great place to take in the view of boats and sea creatures alike.

The dining area has a very laid back vibe. The funky tabletops are set with colorful terry cloth napkins.

Though it may seem like a hole-in-the-wall type of dive, the food is really incredible. Bayou Joe’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is made to order, so don’t expect to run in and run out.
Take some time to savor your meal and enjoy the picturesque surrounding.
